Anantha Kancherla is an engineering and AI leader who most recently served as VP of ADAS at GM, building the company’s self-driving technology. Prior to GM, he headed Facebook's AI Infrastructure team and served as VP of Engineering for Lyft's Level 5 division, where he built the autonomous vehicle stack leading to its acquisition. Earlier in his career, he launched Dropbox Paper as Senior Director of Engineering at Dropbox, and directed the development of Facebook's native mobile apps, scaling the Android app to over 1 billion daily active users. He spent his early career at Microsoft, where he won a Technical Emmy Award for his work on programmable shaders in DirectX. Anantha is an ICONIQ Technical Advisory Board Member and holds degrees in Computer Science from UNC Chapel Hill and IIT.
