In 2011, Ksplice was acquired by Oracle, and Zulip was acquired by Dropbox in 2014.

Tarin

I am working on tackling robotics and AI by throwing out almost all of the existing paradigms. Instead, I want to develop and refine ideas around artificial life, virtual biology, etc. This will draw heavily on simulations, and biological principles. Furthermore, I am seeking to stand up a new type of organization to do this, a cross between a venture-studio, research-lab, and a traditional start-up. Sahil is a customer-focused engineer with an extensive background in AI, recommender systems, and marketplaces. He has served an engineer and an eng leader at Facebook and Uber, working on News Feed, Video Growth, as well as Uber’s Dispatching Algorithms.
