Deon is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Forethought, the leading generative AI platform for customer support automation. Previously served as CEO, scaling the company over seven years. An early engineer at Pure Storage and Dropbox, he brings deep technical expertise to building AI-first enterprise products.

Founder, artist, & product leader building something new 🐣 Wrote distraction-blocker app SelfControl, started an ed-tech company, sold to Workday, worked on new product strategy there for 5 years Last 2 years: building big steel fire-shooting sculptures 🔥

Focused on AI-augmented reading tools and modeling human behavior. Did a PhD in Computer Science (Machine learning and Recommendation Systems) at Stanford, Masters in Economics; undergrad at IIT Bombay Computer Science. I grew up in San Diego and studied CS at Brown. I dropped out to be an early engineer at Snackpass (YC, a16z, Craft) and built out our marketplace infra that scaled from $100k's a year to $120M+ today. I am passionate about DeFi and creating globally inclusive financial products.

Matt is a Principal Scientist at Adobe, focused on building tools for creative work. Previously founded Facet, a content-aware image editing platform, and held engineering roles at Operator and Kinema. With a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon, he brings deep expertise in simulation, machine learning, and interactive media.

Tinkerer with a background in AI and Education, interested in building tools for better pedagogy and tools for thinking. Currently thinking about how to build a better online reading experience. Let's chat about LLMs, Jose Luis Borges, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Mike
Michael graduated from Harvard College in 2017 with a master’s degree in CS, as well as a bachelor’s degree in CS and statistics. During college, he worked in the George Church Lab automating multiplexing technologies for cell culture experiments.
