Our members range from exited founders and highly-cited researchers to new graduates and first-time entrepreneurs. Jonathan is SPC's Storytelling Partner and is based in San Francisco. He is an expert at helping our members, companies, and the community craft and tell compelling narratives. He previously worked in campaign politics, advertising, and as an independent writer and filmmaker.
Andrew
Andrew is a Research Scientist at TikTok focused on AI and music. Previously held roles at Scale AI and The Data Institute, and founded MusicAutobot to explore generative music. Former South Park Commons deep learning researcher with a background in ML infrastructure and creative AI.
Matthew
PhD in RL, building new ways of using RL + LLMs
Rohan
Building an AI Growth Team. Previously built new products for SMBs and creators at Meta, Yelp, and Yahoo. As Founder, I started an 8 person company for non-profits to raise capital.
Mike
Michael graduated from Harvard College in 2017 with a master’s degree in CS, as well as a bachelor’s degree in CS and statistics. During college, he worked in the George Church Lab automating multiplexing technologies for cell culture experiments.
Andrew
I am the cofounder and CEO of Ascend, a fintech startup that handles payments and financing for the $1T insurance industry. Previously, cofounder Sheltr (acquired by Hippo Insurance), early employee (2014) at Instacart.
Fangchang
Passionate about computer vision, machine learning, and 3D. Previously leading a research team at Apple. PhD in robotics from MIT.
Bryan
After a PhD in AI/ML, cofounded a unique fintech—Angaza—to make solar energy and smartphones radically more affordable in sub-Saharan Africa and beyond. Helped millions of households connect to electricity and internet. Now focused on AI again.
