Great ideas rarely emerge from isolation

South Park Commons is a community of technologists ideating and validating what to build next. We believe this shouldn’t be done alone. Our members range from exited founders and highly-cited researchers to new graduates and first-time entrepreneurs. What unites us is ambition, ability, and a mutual commitment to helping each other navigate -1 to 0.

Ross
I’m currently exploring human-in-the-loop AI systems at ROSNIK AI with my longtime friend Nick DiRienzo. In my prior life, I was Head of Product at Observe Inc and a PM at Splunk. In my spare time, you will find me brewing beer, riding my bike, and reading any sci-fi I can get my hands on.
Yuran
Worked on the desktop client at Dropbox for a few years. Before that, co-founder of ZeroMailer, acquired by Dropbox. Before that, professional gambler. Now working on building System2.
Vinayak
I am a scientist by training so I like to ask lot of questions and I am a fan from first principles thinking. I loved programming since I was 5 and have built algorithms and systems working collaboratively with biologist, chemist, scientists and automation engineers to reliably scale measurement of biological systems (mostly human DNA) and predicting propensity for disease. Outside work, I love the outdoors and playing and following team sports.
Jonathan
Jonathan Mortensen (JMo) is a data scientist and software engineer. After graduating with a PhD in biomedical data science in 2016 from Stanford, Jonathan founded and sold two startups: Gyroscope to BlueVoyant and bit.io to Databricks. Now, JMo is exploring on the intersection of AI and databases.
Eric
- First mobile engineer at Ramp - Scaled iOS team at Robinhood from 1->50+ - Founder of the AppDev team at Cornell University
Gopal
Gopal is an investor with the SPC Fund based out of NYC. Previously, he helped build Retool’s technical GTM team as a deployed engineer. He studied economics, computer science, and poetry at Stanford, where he was also a Mayfield Fellow. In his spare time, he loves playing tennis, skiing, and writing (usually about art).
Robert
Robert is the founder of Compound Labs, creator of the Compound Protocol, one of the earliest and most influential decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms.
Ayush
Focused on AI-augmented reading tools and modeling human behavior. Did a PhD in Computer Science (Machine learning and Recommendation Systems) at Stanford, Masters in Economics; undergrad at IIT Bombay Computer Science. Previously co-founded MoveUp AI and worked at Google. Always open to connecting — reach out to discuss mutual interests!
Shreepoorna
Founder of Arctus Aerospace, IIT Madras alumnus with extensive experience in drone R&D and defense tech. Led multiple UAV projects at IIT Madras; now developing high-altitude, long-endurance combat UAVs for defense applications. Based in Bangalore., Shreepoorna S Rao, founder of Arctus Aerospace, IIT Madras alum. Leading innovation in high-altitude drones for defense and geospatial data, combining technical expertise with a mission to disrupt aerospace with cost-effective solutions.
Lucas
As a designer and engineer, I’ve led the development of products across industrial robotics, life sciences automation, an spatial computing. Focused on building human-spatial systems products for the built world.
