Previously co-founded Sway, an AI video synthesis startup acquired by Roblox, and was a researcher at UC Berkeley and Google. He has a PhD in computer science and a deep focus on generative media and AI systems.

Kanjun Qiu is the CEO of Generally Intelligent, an AI research company building human-like general intelligence by evolving self-supervised architectures to tackle human developmental milestones of increasing complexity. Kanjun is interested in human agency, institutions for discovery, social technologies, and understanding what machine learning algorithms might teach us about psychology.
