Karyn Nakamura is a Tokyo-born, New York-based artist and visual forensics researcher. Her work explores the social and technical infrastructures that shape communication.

I'm a cofounder of Pilot, a modern finance team offering the best bookkeeping, tax, and CFO services for growing businesses. I'm an engineer by background and have cofounded and sold a couple of companies with friends I met while studying at MIT. In 2011, Ksplice was acquired by Oracle, and Zulip was acquired by Dropbox in 2014.
