South Park Commons is a community of technologists ideating and validating what to build next. We believe this shouldn’t be done alone. Our members range from exited founders and highly-cited researchers to new graduates and first-time entrepreneurs. Liam
Grew up in Canada and moved to SF immediately after graduation. Worked with an investor briefly and then spent 5 years growing Meter, working across product, operations, and sales. I'm now in NY and interested in a variety of fields like computing infrastructure and healthcare.
Alex
Former head of go-to-market at Zoox (self-driving startup acquired by Amazon), and ex-management consultant. Interested in the future of mobility, AI/ML, meditation, and book recommendations. Studied Math & CS at Harvey Mudd.
Andrea
Andy leads the design of tools for devs and creatives, all through the lens of play. She started her career in 2010 as a filmmaker and game designer, which gave her a sharp eye for storytelling, and 10 years ago delved into product design and game design. She was the first transmedia filmmaker in Central America and cofounded the first Interaction Design school in the area. In the past she has worked at ConsenSys, MongoDB, and Roblox. Amir
Amir is a co-founder of Baseten, building infrastructure to serve and scale machine learning applications. Previously led data platform engineering at Clover Health and was Head of Engineering at Gumroad.
Ning
Full stack engineer and designer. I previously co-founded a health insurance marketplace, and before that worked as a engineer and data scientist at a few social networks.
Tyler
Founder of Perfectly Imperfect, Ex-Meta Engineer, College Dropout, Occasional DJ, and Open-Source Developer.
Steffen
I'm an ML engineer that's worked on speech recognition (training embedded acoustic models, semi-supervised learning, accented languages). I also love building random projects with friends like a 3D version of Zoom, a collapsible water filled dumbbell, and an augmented reality NFT collection. Right now I'm exploring LLM's + ecommerce and learning how to breakdance
Faraz
Faraz is a tech entrepreneur who previously founded two companies, including Screenhero, which sold to Slack. He's currently really into robotics.
Toby
16 y/o founder of Beem. Obsessed with computing interfaces
Matt
Matt is working full-time on starting a climate-tech company. Previously, he was Head of Engineering at Studio and an ML Scientist at Tesla Autopilot. He spends his free time playing music, skateboarding, and nerding out about space travel and TTRPGs.
