South Park Commons is a community of technologists ideating and validating what to build next. We believe this shouldn’t be done alone. Our members range from exited founders and highly-cited researchers to new graduates and first-time entrepreneurs. What unites us is ambition, ability, and a mutual commitment to helping each other navigate -1 to 0.

I grew up in Israel and studied math at the technion. I worked as an ML engineer / EM at a few startups. I like to work on technical problems that involve optimization / planning in an uncertain environment. I have 22 roommates. In my free time, I practice bjj, write short stories and surf.

Josh is a Member of the Technical Staff at OpenAI, where he leads research on agentic products. Previously co-founded Gantry to help teams improve ML products with human feedback, and has held research and teaching roles at OpenAI and UC Berkeley. He also co-organizes Full Stack Deep Learning.

After my PhD in ML for materials science at MIT, I joined Lila Sciences as the first employee, building its scientific intelligence codebase and helping lay the foundation for a 100+ person company. Now I'm excited to develop new AI for materials science—or something entirely new!
