Our members range from exited founders and highly-cited researchers to new graduates and first-time entrepreneurs. Josh is a Member of the Technical Staff at OpenAI, where he leads research on agentic products. Previously co-founded Gantry to help teams improve ML products with human feedback, and has held research and teaching roles at OpenAI and UC Berkeley. He also co-organizes Full Stack Deep Learning.
Michelle
Exploring mass electrification and ways to build critical power grid infrastructure.
Jarret
Building something fun and funky to disrupt a super stale market. Previously held senior roles at companies big and small, including mktg, product, operations, biz strat/analytics, partnerships, and customer success.

Immunologist and data scientist building therapeutics that matter.
Hamidah
I'm a research affiliate at the Topos Institute helping develop CatColab, a structured model editor. I'm interested in how we can meaningfully document and make sense of procedural knowledge (e.g., with Git). I'm also a non-resident fellow at IFP where I focus on high-skilled immigration policy.
Yusuf
I like to build time machines! I'm a software engineer with experience computer vision research and developer tools. I'm currently founding NatML, building cross-platform machine learning and media tools for developing interactive software.

Alejandro

Afrooz
Currently leads Apple’s Applied Acoustics ML team, building next-gen audio features across the ecosystem. Previously cofounded Syng and served as Head of HomePod Software Engineering, where he helped launch the 2nd-gen HomePod.
