South Park Commons is a community of technologists ideating and validating what to build next. We believe this shouldn’t be done alone. Our members range from exited founders and highly-cited researchers to new graduates and first-time entrepreneurs. What unites us is ambition, ability, and a mutual commitment to helping each other navigate -1 to 0.

Vladimir
Founder and CEO of Lighter, and previously co-founder of Lunchclub. Earlier roles include Head of Machine Learning at Quora and VP Engineering at Addepar. He’s also an active investor in startups like Robinhood, Ramp, and Cognition, with a background in economics from Harvard (graduated at 18).

Matt
Matt is a Principal Scientist at Adobe, focused on building tools for creative work. Previously founded Facet, a content-aware image editing platform, and held engineering roles at Operator and Kinema. With a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon, he brings deep expertise in simulation, machine learning, and interactive media.

I’m a software engineer interesting in applying SV’s optimism and maker mindset to an especially challenging question: can we build software that helps people feel like they have enough and are enough, instead of amplifying and exploiting our fears of never enough?
Waseem
I'm a cofounder of Pilot, a modern finance team offering the best bookkeeping, tax, and CFO services for growing businesses. I'm an engineer by background and have cofounded and sold a couple of companies with friends I met while studying at MIT. In 2011, Ksplice was acquired by Oracle, and Zulip was acquired by Dropbox in 2014.
