Our members range from exited founders and highly-cited researchers to new graduates and first-time entrepreneurs. Software engineer, previously worked at Figma on the product and the engine, Berkeley CS. Interested in computer graphics, computer vision, and machine learning.
Josh
Josh is a Member of the Technical Staff at OpenAI, where he leads research on agentic products. Previously co-founded Gantry to help teams improve ML products with human feedback, and has held research and teaching roles at OpenAI and UC Berkeley. He also co-organizes Full Stack Deep Learning.
Edward
Founder exploring directions in visual genAI. Researcher in Graphics/Vision/XR (ex-Apple research scientist, PhD from UWashington). Hobbies: Playing chamber music (Violin/Viola/Piano), board games, sci-fi/fantasy
Justin
Justin most recently led Growth at Rockset, and worked on Google's Cloud Security team prior. He was also the Founder/CEO of Xenia Gifts. Justin graduated from UC Berkeley with degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration.
Tiantian
Deeply care about Alzheimer's, prevention, and clinical research. Formerly product at Verily/Google. Built world's first ever mosquito factory.
Amjad
Amjad Masad is the CEO and co-founder of Replit, an online coding platform that aims to make coding more accessible and social.
Pete
Pete is the co-founder of Swoop.
William
Technical founder who builds from -1→0->1. Created ML-powered document platforms at AngelList, architected loan trading systems at ORSNN, and led engineering teams at Amazon. Solves complex challenges with Go, AWS, and AI to deliver market-ready solutions.
Nick
Co-founder at ROSNIK AI, working on improving the experience of human in the loop AI systems. Previously, built software to scale Modern Health and Optimizely. Happy to chat about all things startups, software engineering, distributed systems, mental health, and food.
Marcel
Marcel is the founder of Apache Impala, which he started when he joined Cloudera in 2011 and for which he was the architect/TL until 2017. Before Cloudera, he worked on database technology at Google and several startups. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
