South Park Commons is a community of technologists ideating and validating what to build next. We believe this shouldn’t be done alone. Our members range from exited founders and highly-cited researchers to new graduates and first-time entrepreneurs. What unites us is ambition, ability, and a mutual commitment to helping each other navigate -1 to 0.

We focus on highly technical builders in the -1 to 0. Over the last decade, we have had 1,000 members join us to start companies, pursue research, and work on other ambitious projects.

Jaclyn worked at Alphabet for 7 years in a variety of operational roles. She helped launch Google Helpouts (a consumer marketplace to deliver expertise over live video) and most recently worked at CapitalG helping portfolio companies scale.
Faraz
Faraz is a tech entrepreneur who previously founded two companies, including Screenhero, which sold to Slack. He's currently really into robotics.

Working on intersection of Hardware x AI. Co-Founder Plate IQ ( YC S15 ) and Automatic Labs ( YC S15 ). I can speak about amortization to both engineers and accountants!

After spending 12 years as a public market investor at hedge funds, I am now building AI assistant for institutional investors.
Bryan
After a PhD in AI/ML, cofounded a unique fintech—Angaza—to make solar energy and smartphones radically more affordable in sub-Saharan Africa and beyond. Helped millions of households connect to electricity and internet. Now focused on AI again.
Kara
Kara works with sports entities to build strategy tied to commercial development and athlete marketing. She is currently a Senior Advisor to Riot Games, the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Team, and Division Street, Nike Founder Phil Knight’s new athlete marketing startup. She is also the co-author of Pure Grit: Stories of Remarkable People Living with Physical Disability.
